William Faidi - Chief Executive Officer & Founder

William Faidi is the CEO and founder of Tribeca Companies. Since its founding in 2005, he has chaired the investment committee and directed its portfolio companies.

William is the founder and CEO of Lyfe Bioscience, a provider of specialty healthcare focused on fertility. He serves as the CEO of Spot On Sciences, a company safeguarding biospecimen sample collection, storage and transport. William also leads as CEO of AirX Bioscience, a global leader in reconstructive surgery products and the standard of care in two-stage breast reconstruction. He chairs or sits on numerous company boards.

William has over two decades of experience in private equity and real assets investing. He served as legal counsel and investment advisor to a Dubai-based family office where he handled cross-border transactions. He worked at the international law firm of Nixon Peabody and served as judicial clerk to Hon. Joyce L. Kennard of the Supreme Court of California. William also served as Of Counsel to a preeminent global tax law firm. He is admitted to practice law in four jurisdictions and in four countries. He is a member in multiple professional memberships including the Law Society of England and Wales, Canadian Bar Association and Law Counsel of Australia.

William has carried out over $2.5 billion in investment transactions, including the structuring in 2009 of the acquisition of multi-family assets valued over $1 billion. Deutsche Bank designated William as an alternative investment manager and advisor for its institutional and key client group, which represent the Bank’s highest tiered clients. William co-founded and successfully sold an employee benefits firm that provided services to 40 of the Fortune 100 companies.

William is a graduate of UCSF and Harvard University (designated graduating class commencement speaker and class president). He holds five degrees including a JD, MBA and MA. His academic distinctions include top 5% of class, Law Review, Moot Court Award, and the American Jurisprudence Award.
