Sharon Roe - Business Development
Sharon Roe works in Business Development at Tribeca Companies, providing executive support to the CEO in strategy and operations management.
Prior to joining the team, Sharon had over nine years of experience from the Norwegian Armed Forces, NATO and United Nations (UN), including a three-year Officer’s education at the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy. In the Norwegian Armed Forces, she worked both as the Head of Logistics on board a Norwegian Navy Vessel and as an instructor at the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy. Sharon was deployed to United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS) in 2016-2017, supporting the Missions’ training efforts for its peacekeepers, both as a Staff Officer and as Deputy for the training section in the Mission Headquarter. She was awarded the Force Commanders Commendation, an award given to the top 2% in the mission, for her duties during this deployment. Following the UNMISS deployment, Sharon was also deployed for six-months as the Aide-de-Camp to the Force Commander of Standing NATO Maritime Group 1, operating in Europe and North-Africa.
Sharon graduated with from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Leadership, Logistics and Resource Management and is an MBA candidate at the Norwegian School of Economics. Her academic distinctions from the RNoNA include top 5% of class and as the first, and so far, only, female to be awarded “His Majesty the King’s Watch”. The prize is presented to the Cadet with the overall biggest potential, both in academics and leadership.
