


Jeffrey J. MorrisJeff is a member of the Investment Committee, overseeing the firm’s investment activity and asset management operations.Jeff has over 30 years of experience in national real estate investment advisory, portfolio-property management, transactions, financing and valuation. He started his real estate career in 1971 with Coldwell Banker Management Corporation. Since 1981 he has been affiliated with BlackRock Realty and predecessor firms, most recently as a Director and Senior Portfolio Manager. In this role Jeff managed closed end, 3 to 5 year apartment value funds, each approximately $250 million to $500 million in gross asset value, producing net Internal Rates of Return (IRR’s) of 16% to 18%. As Managing Director of Metric Property Management, Jeff oversaw a $2.5 billion national portfolio of multi-family, office, industrial and retail properties. Jeff is currently serving a three-year term as a member of the Assessment Appeals Board in the City and County of San Francisco, and is on the board of various civic/charitable organizations, including the Board of Directors of Golden Gate Park Stables, California Academy of Sciences and Olympic Club Foundation. Jeff is a graduate of Stanford University, a California state real estate broker and a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI).
